<p>To be honest, the postal services in Chicago are so slow. We won’t hear from Gates until tomorrow or Friday</p>

<p>Hey everyone I’m from Arizona Hispanic and I just got notification that I’m a gates millenium scholar…but I had a question because yesterday I recieved notification that I am also a Dorrance Scholar which is a regional scholarship. But the Dorrance already covers all my expenses…but the Gates covers my expenses through Graduate School. Can I keep both and the only reason I’m asking is because I’ll be asking for 0$ from GMSP until grad school</p>

<p>I’ve heard from a friend of mine/ 2011 Gates Scholar that by Friday, the website should be posting a list of the 1000 Gates Scholars! She could be wrong though.</p>

<p>I think 2 hispanics have been notified today in my city. UGH. i wish i could’ve just gotten a rejection letter the same day if I was rejected. Why don’t these come the same day when we live so close together?</p>
