Hello!
Just a few questions about my application:
- I submitted my application on around November 13th... should I be worried if I haven't heard anything back yet?
- If I am accepted to UPitt, will the application for the Medical GAP program come along with it? Or is that a separate program? Also, when is the deadline to apply for the GAP program?
- If I am accepted to UPitt, will the scholarship information and/or honors college acceptance be included with general admission?
Thank you!
1)No
2)no, I believe separate notification which comes with further instructions to apply if invited.
3) honors college yes, acceptance letter might say considered for merit but no specific number
- No, it takes about 5 weeks for us to review an application and send out a decisions after it is complete in our system.
- Anyone who applied before November 15 and selected medicine as a graduate school interest will be reviewed for eligibility for the medicine guarantee. Those who are eligible to apply are notified by early January. https://oafa.pitt.edu/explore/guaranteed-admissions-programs/medicine-gap/
- Information about the honors college may be in your letter, but those who are selected for a scholarship will hear later on in a separate letter. The Scholarship Committee makes decisions and sends out award letters November-March 1.
