General chemistry II acs exam?

I just had my chem II final and im really annoyed at how difficult it was. We had the acs exam, and yes I bought the review book and I spent literally a whole week going over it. I had the entire book memorized inside and out and to my dismay NONE of the questions on the acs exam were anything similar or close to the questions in the review book. Most people said the questions would be very similar and even that some of the questions in the book were in the test word for word. I saw nothing similar at all. Whats upsetting me even more is that our teacher said he isnt curving it? I know most teachers curve it to the national average but this guy is being a real d bag

Anyways has anyone else taken the acs, what scores did you guys get?

I just took mine the other day. I didn’t think it was too bad, plus we get a pretty generous curve [(our national percentile score + 100) / 2]. Do you know which exam year you took?

Our teacher isnt curving it however he took off 15 questions from the test which was on material we didnt learn, though id rather he had left it on there and curved the test normally since that wouldve given more points.

Im not sure but im guessing 2013? The material on mine was way more complicated then the exam review guide and the review guide is pretty old.

I’m glad for the curve, I’m going to need it. The test I took was the 2007 version, so according to the ACS website, I need to get 49 of the questions right to get an A in the class.

Where can you see the average scores?

Also im extremely jealous of your curve. Ugh I need a 78 on this exam to keep my B in the class and Im pretty sure i failed it :/

I need ~88 to get an A in the class.

How can we tell if we have the full year or 2nd term test?
