Hey guys,
I wanted to know if it is wrong to say that I want to pursue electrical engineering and computer science in my Harvey Mudd esaay, considering the fact that they only have a general engineering degree and there is no such thing as double majoring (or is there?)

Well, they allow students to specialize a bit within the engineering major, so you could still talk about electrical engineering. I think you should still make sure that you show that you know it’s not the actual major. HMC has a couple of joint majors, but engineering/computer science isn’t one of them. You could always just say that you want to study engineering OR computer science.

Look carefully at the HM majors before you apply and figure out if there really is an appropriate one for you. If you are interested in EE and CS, you may find that either the engineering or CS degree will suit you, but you may not as well. Don’t be silly and write " I intend to take a double major in EE and CS " when HM doesn’t offer that option.
That being said, it’s fine to talk about EE and/or CS as strong interests.

I think it would be a bad idea to say you want to major in EE since HMC doesn’t offer EE as a major, as it might seem like you haven’t done research But you can say you’re interested in EE, just not that you want to major in EE.
