General engineering recommendation question

I'm not quite at applying for graduate school yet, but I'm wondering about letters of recommendation. I'm an engineer, so I've spent the last two summers doing engineering internships (I have one summer left when I'll probably be doing more research-oriented things, but so far I've been doing internships). Do you think that letters of recommendation from intern supervisors would be at all appropriate for graduate school or fellowship applications?

Thanks.

Yep. DS did.

Any letter that puts you in a good light is helpful. If you know a prof or internship supervisor who knows a potential grad school advisor, their recommendation will be all the more powerful.

Internship recommendations are acceptable, but I would get at least 2 professors to recommend you, since their opinions hold more weight in the academic world.
