General Physics or College Physics?

My college offers two choices. The classes are similar but general physics doesn't satisfy the education requirement for engineering or chemistry majors. Which one should I take for the physics portion of the MCAT?

check with your premed advisor, as we have no way of knowing what each class covers. Most likely one is calc based and the other is not, in which case it does not matter which you take.

So physics on the MCAT are not calc based?

Nope. But make sure that that that's really the difference before you enroll in "general."

Agreed.

Also some universities have physics classes that are coverage of physics concepts but don't have any math. Make sure you take one that is at least algebra based. And I wouldn't recommend taking a calc-based course unless you need to satisfy requirements within your major.
