<p>The deposit is due May first, national decision day. </p>
<p>I believe this year the included a financial aid estimate online. They will also send you a more detailed document with your acceptance package. I think it’s unlikely that this will change significantly unless you made some mistake while applying for financial aid, but this really varies from situation to situation. It never hurts to get in touch with the financial aid office to learn how they arrived at the number and whether or not you can expect any change.</p>
<p>There are other merit scholarships available. These are listed on the “CWRU Scholarships” page under the “Affording CWRU” tab on the admissions page. They range from very competitive full rides to less competitive, but less substantial rewards. Applications require more information and/or essays and are due January 15th. I definitely recommend looking into these as soon as possible. Good luck!</p>
<p>All schools will require an updating of the FAFSA with your 2013 tax info as soon as it is available before they can finalize your FA package. If your parent’s income changed significantly from 2012 to 2013, your FA package could also be changed, in either direction.</p>
