Hello,
Can you please tell me some school that are very generous with internationals?
I know about the ivies, but despite the fact that I am first in my school and a winner of many national®ional competitions and olympiads , my act score will be quite low (26-28 composite and 8-9 writing ). I have a really good CV. I've been volunteering a LOT and I've also had an internship and job for aprox. 2 yrs.
I cant't afford the cost of tuition( at least not 40,000$) and I want to attend a school that gives a generous amount of aid

Unless the int’l student has some extraordinary talent or extraordinary academic credentials, it is difficult to get significant aid money.

Try looking at SAT/ACT-optional schools (i.e. schools which don’t require submitting test scores)

Please read and consider all of the hundreds of previous posts from international students who are trying to get into US schools and asking for aid. International students, who are full pay, have better chances for entry, but even full pay students have to have the correct scores and gpa’s.

It has become very difficult and competitive to enter US colleges, not just for international students, but also for domestic students.

But what about college like Bard,Earlham, Skidmore, Lewis &Clark, Smith ? I have won many national competitions in physics and biology and I have really good extra curricular activities too.

Follow the links to information about places that do not require the ACT/SAT. Some do offer significant need-based aid to international students who are admitted. However, admissions is not easy for anyone, even US applicants.

Could you PLEASE list your GPA(or school grades)/IB or AP scores, SAT/ACT and Extracurriculars rather than obscure sentences like “I will have this scores and have some awards. Can I get full ride”?

I’m the first in my class , so I guess my GPA is 4.0 ( 9.60), we don’t have anything like AP exams here, but I can tell you about my study program. I’m studying advanced mathematics, computer programming and physics, this is considered to be the hardest program in my country. I’m also enrolled in biology, chemistry, french, english, philosophy , history, geography + other. I won two years in row the National Physics Symposium , got the honorable mention at the regional biology olympiad, won many regional debate competitions ,+ many other regional & school competitions. I volunteered in a organization and in many different events, I was in the student council, i was the president of the " Student Mediators" ( don’t really know if you have anything like this in the US), had an internship at a big publishing company, also had a job. This is just a brief description of my activities. I just took the SAT II and ACT and I’m waiting for the results. I’m not expecting to get a full ride , but I can only pay somewhere between 8,000-10,000$ .

Without your SAT/ACT results there’s not much we can tell you, since they will be a key factor used to evaluate you. Your ability to get in with the substantial (almost full) financial aid is partly based on your competition, both from your own country and your part of the world. If you’re Indian or mainland Chinese… well, let’s just say you will be competing with hundreds of top students from your country. If you’re an underrepresented minority or from an underrepresented country/area (Africa, for example) your odds are better. If you’re female and interested in STEM fields, that’s even better still.

You should be applying to need blind schools (search this thread - there are many posts that list them), schools generous to international students (Alabama) and schools in less popular parts of the U.S.: the south, the middle (called the mid-west) and some generous western states such as Wyoming, Montana, Minnesota, among them.

Ua accepts dec3mber score btw. Apply today!

Thank you so much

Berea is a given considering your financial situation. Only 5% internationals admitted but all get a full ride.
Look at their requirements carefully (no commonapp => everything must be gathered ahead of time and mailed)
