Genetics Textbook?

I'm finishing up my undergraduate career, but haven't been able to take a formal genetics course yet (though, I've had plenty of Cell Bio and Biochem). I wanted to do some self-study in genetics this semester, and I'm wondering if anyone used a genetics textbook they particularly liked? The book that is conventionally used at my school consistently gets poor reviews from students, and if I'm going to buy a genetics book, I want to make sure it's worth it!

Thanks!

“Molecular Biology of the Gene” 6th ed. Watson, Baker, Bell, Gann, Levine, Losick

It goes into pretty good detail on everything from modern genetic techniques to the nitty gritty mechanisms of regulation. It only touches on classical mendelian genetics, however, so if you’re looking for something along the lines of “this gene crossed with this gene will give me this phenotype” then you want a different book.
