Geometry Regents June 2017

I thought the last question was pretty hard. What does anyone else think?

I thought it was so easy but then I realized I did sine instead of tangent ugh and I did all the math right too

Does anyone remember the multiple choice question with the half cylinder half prism I didn’t know how exactly to do it

I put 151 but that was wrong too I put it in the wrong unit

does anyone have all the answers? or the password to the regents answers?

I felt like the Geometry Regents was pretty hard

Remember the multiple choice it was like a right triangle and then it said find the volume of the shape it will make if you rotate the triangle? What did you get, I put 48pi

I put 36pi but I guessed

Was the last question 269 or something like that miles per hour

What did everyone get as answers for the last question?

I got 417 mph

Wait did you have to find the height of the trapazoid for the construction or just draw it?

I think it was a perpendicular bisector through vertex j in that construction

The last question was 211 mph in pretty sure. I got 184 bc I used sin, but I just did it with tan and I got 211

What was the other 6 point question

The proving it’s a rhombus and proving it’s not a square which was really easy

When do the answers go online?

Oh how did you prove it was not a square, I think I distance formulaed the diagonals to see if they were congruent and they weren’t and I got square root of 140 and something else

Yeah that’s how you proved it isn’t a square

Did you get square root of 140 for one of the diagonals
