Geometry Regents June 2017

anyone remember the proofs

the one for parallel was cpctc and alternte interior angles that are congruent are formed by parallel lines

second one was rhombus bc 2 consec sides

third was not square bc diagonals werenct congruent

I proved that there were no right angles instead of the diagonals not being congruent is that ok?
I did the same thing for everything else though

First I found the radius and the found the diameter and added the 1 foot. I got 32.—( I forgot what the decimal points were.)

@gittacat ya thats what i did too but i got weird numbers

Can anyone say how they did the last question??? I did sine but I know that that’s wrong

I know for a fact the gas stick is 10.9
You needed trig systems for the last one. You had to use tan and draw a diagram, and find the whole length up until where the person was standing, and then you find the smaller of the two distances, the subtract the smaller distance from the larger and you get the distance the airplane travelled in one minute
then you convert ft per min to mph

ya

I got 24 or 25.5 for the gas tank. Because you had to multiply 20,000 X 7.48. Not divide the two

You had to multiply 20,000 X 7.48. Not divide the two so it was 24.5 or 25.5

nope, you had to divide. there are 7.48 gallons in a cubic foot. not 7.48 cubic feet in a gallon

for proving that it wasn’t a square could you say the slopes of all the lines were not congruent?

so nervous

what did everybody get on
1)bio
2)algebra???

95 algebra
93 bio

Pretty sure I’m way off I got 55 miles per hour on the last question

@geometryccdiscuss how do you already know your grades lol

bio was 2 days ago
