Do I need to know how to do geometry before trigonmetry? I'm thinking of skiping geometry amd going right into trig. My algebra is pretty strong and I'm a little familiar with geometry concepts.

Geometry isn’t really vastly important for trig. Some of the basic properties of angles and triangles are important, but these are the types of things that you likely either already know or could pick up in a very short time.

Basic concepts like the interior measure of the angles of a triangle, properties of vertical angles, alternate interior angles and such. Just some really basic stuff. Most of the stuff that’s necessary to do well in trig should be covered at least briefly within the scope of the trig class. The algebra is more important than anything else as a prerequisite in my opinion.
