Hello! I applied to GM as a transfer from Radford University, with a 3.5 GPA and I made Dean's list with 14 credits last semester 16 this semester. I am studying criminal justice, I have been on a couple ride-alongs in Herndon and I mentioned that as well as taking handgun safety courses in my essay. I am the VP of Radford's paintball team and have contributed a lot towards it. Do you guys think I have a good shot of getting accepted? I want to move back to NOVA so I can get an internship and be at a better school. Thanks!

There are many other colleges in Northern Virginia. George Mason University is getting competitive every year! I’m guessing you plan on transferring in the spring? I’m looking at there website and can’t seem to find the requirements for a transfer student from another university all I see is NVCC… You also have to look if some the classes you’ve taken are going to transfer, 3.5 is good (I’m not saying this in a bad way) but, it wouldn’t hurt to get a higher GPA!

I’m applying for the fall! I should get a higher GPA this semester but it won’t raise much, I’ll probably get a 3.55
