r u for real?

Did u not watch that game!!!???

GMU won in OT by 2 against the UCONNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!

omfg. I have lost both of my final 2 teams, and my overall winner!
in my other bracket, i've got A&M going to the champ... and thyere still in, but that was only a $2 pool
$#!T

That was such an exciting game!! :) I had UConn going all the way though, haha.

Wow....I can't believe they won. I'm really happy for them though.

I was so scared when UCONN tied it up. If only Skinn had made those free throws, I would have been spared some stress.

Bah, whatever happened to Georgetown?:(

I haven't even heard of George Mason until the NCAA tournament started... I mean they're an unranked team that beats out the #2 ranked team in the nation... WOW

what's GM's mascot?

Pff... it was a fluke.

^So the wins against Michigan State and UNC were also flukes?

It was not a fluke - GMU is a great team, you've just never heard of them cause they play in the CAA (the Connecticut Assasins Association according to their coach) but you have to have some skill to beat Mich State, UNC, Wichita State (another amazing team from a midmajor that took care of Seton Hall and Tennessee) and UConn. Beating two of last year's Final Four, the past two national champions and one of only two teams to be ranked #1 in the nation this year.

I think what people mean when they say GMU's wins are flukes is that if you were to play several games between the two teams, UConn, UNC, or MSU would come out on top.

GMU is turning out to be an amazing TOURNAMENT team, which is different from being an amazing team in the normal season. Tournament play requires that you come ready to play on that day, and also dealing with neutral stadiums. Players are humans, they have their on days and their off days. GMU is having its on days right now, and for some of the players on these other teams, they are having their off days. This is not to take away from GMU's talent, because it requires great skill to have on days that are better than UConn's off days.

The question now is how far they can go from there.

I personally think that its going to be a tough match-up against FL, but you might never know...

Oh and if they win the whole thing by some luck of the draw....then wow wow wow wow...

FL is so aggressive with Joakim Noah. If only Kentucky were in the final four....that'd be great..

^Agreed.

Noah is like a 6-11 highlight reel that never stops....but I think either Thomas or Lewis can do a good job of guarding him. GMU did a pretty job against UCONN.

Yeah but UConn narrowly escaped losing in all four games.

Four people in the entire country had this Final Four predicted correctly on espn.com. I personally know that before the Elite Eight, I was ranked 522 of the 3 million some-odd brackets on espn.com, putting myself in the 100 percentile.
I had only lost like four or five games up until the Sweet 16 and I had my entire Elite Eight and Final Four, I thought I was in good shape.
I then lost two of my Final Four teams in one night (Boston College, who I had as the runner-up to Memphis) and Wichita State, who I had over UConn in the Elite Eight. I also had Texas over Duke and Memphis over UCLA and managed to lose both those games. I went from 522 in the world to having ZERO possible points remaining entering this weekend.

Basically, what I'm getting at is that George Mason better win this entire thing so I don't look so stupid.

Haha.

Someone in my school was ranked 325 but his rank dropped too.
