Well, I found out in the mail today I just got the Evans Caddie Scholarship. If you're not familiar, it covers full tuition and housing expenses, and I got it for the University of Michigan (it was that or Mich State). So now I have a BIG dillemma......plus, I won't hear back from Georgetown about Financial Aid until mid March! The wait'll kill me.

The worst part: They want to hear back by March 30, and I won't hear back from Harvard/Yale/Columbia until early April.

So it's awesome I got the scholarship, but there's no way I can enjoy it, because I still don't have any idea what's happening with any other school I'm applying to.

What schools tlaktan? Congratulations though, 7 for 8 is incredible

and netshark, could you contact the admissions office for the schools you are waiting for and ask them if they could sent their decisions a few days early?

this is really late post, and not on topic to what you're talking about now...but how do you find out how many posts are in the georgetown forum?

you click on CC Top Universities...it'll be on the right.

Neobez, I might just have to do that, but I don't know if they'd be willing to go to such a length for a single applicant. After all, all of the applicants would like to have their decision a little earlier. I'll definitely contact the Scholarship program and ask for an extension...

Calidan, I know exactly what you mean. No matter what I choose, it'll be a good situation, but the problem is, either way, I'll also be turning down a great opportunity.

Hmmm... I hadn't thought about that. But whatever, I'm just really grateful to be given the opportunity to go anywhere, since there are so many people who can't. :)

Yea, I'd recommend asking the scholarship place if they can give you a couple more days. You can find out from a lot of schools April 1, so it's not a huge extention. Good luck

You know what irks me about that? Yeah... try and figure it out. Well you got it- it says "Class of 200*8*!" You think they'd have the courtesy to at least change one little number. Hmph. Oh well. Georgetown seriously needs to keep up with their website, though. It's nice and all, but not nearly as interactive or up-to-date as it should be (i.e. as other colleges are). :(

I'm bored, so i just thought I'd complain a little... ;)

No I'm not making fun of you! lol I really think that's so silly and unforgivable of them. Well, now you'll HAVE to choose brown. Makes the decision a lot easier doesn't it?

Zante- you're going to get accepted to a multiplicity (I just love using that word) of places. You have no need to worry over that, so please just go eat some candy and relax.

And Tlak- congrats on all those acceptances... that's completely awesome. But just I know you'll have good news coming your way in April. :)

PS- Uncommon Grounds makes a very good Chait tea, in case anyone was wondering...
