Georgetown-Duke-Notre Dame

How do people compare these schools? My son will be choosing among them? Thanks

Usually first by COA, then by intended major.

I’m sorry COA? He is interested in business/finance and philosophy/religion.

COA = cost of attendance.

For business/finance & philosophy/religion, Notre Dame is the obvious choice.

Unless he’s insistent on majoring in business rather than economics-finance, it’s doubtful Notre Dame is a better choice than Duke for those areas of interest.

OP wrote business/finance, not economics. Nice try ! :slight_smile: But I do agree that if OP wants to major in economics, then Duke is a great option.

The OP made a decision by May 1.

I believe that the OP is currently deciding between Duke & Brown as OP just got an offer from waitlist at Brown.

^you are correct. Original decision came down to DU, GU and ND with decision made for Duke. Just taken of WL for Brown.

And yes the major has been in flux but at Duke would be Econ/Fin with certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Cost? Duke is generally seen as a step above the other two.
