For my intended major of linguistics, i should also note that i taught myself french throughout my sophomore year and the summer of 2008 to the level where i am currently taking AP french. additionally, i have started teaching myself russian this summer and will continue to do so throughout the school year to prepare for college courses.

So, assuming my interview/essays/recommendations are all stellar, what would you say my chances are?? This is the one school that I have my heart set on after weighing all my options, and I can only hope that I can be admitted to the FLL to study linguistics and global cultures.

Thank you!

anyone at all?

I don’t know anything about these things, but it looks like you have a good shot. But G-town is pretty competitive I believe.

Georgetown is really competitive, but it is really good that you are Hispanic and going for languages (they really love diversity). I still think its a slight reach though with your sat scores. Get them up to 2150 and its a high match.
