My son absolutely loves Georgetown, is it even worth a shot?
3.3 GPA (weighted, but grades have climbed each year, Freshman year was rough but with maturity he got so much better).
1320 SAT (waiting for scores from recent test)
31 ACT (taking it again in next week)
Eagle Scout (lots of leadership roles)
Football (four years - varsity 2 years, Scholar Athlete award Junior Year)
Model Congress (with awards Outstanding Achievement, Honorable Mention Harvard Model Congress)
NJ Boys State - Delegate, Campaign Chairman, Postmaster
Very interested in politics, has interned/canvassed/phone banked for two major political campaigns. Was actually diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome at age 7 … but has grown and matured and become such a wonderful young man…he has blown through every obstacle we thought would stand in his way. We’re really proud of him regardless, but wondering if there is any glimmer of hope. Feedback appreciated.
