Anyone know what the most competitive majors to get into are? Specifically Government or the Walsh School of Foreign Service
Well I’m not sure what you mean by this? When you apply to georgetown you select one of. Colleges ( nursing, college, SFS, or business school) your whole curriculum changes depending on the school. The end of sophomore year is when you declare your major, but you can only choose one within your school or you can apply to change to a different school. Government is in the college, so you can’t do that as a SFS student I believe. Since you go into your college already having your interests narrowed down, majors aren’t competitive, I don’t know if there is a cut off for each one, but you basically just write a short essay describing your plans within the major and you’re don’t. Think about whether you want to go to the college or SFS. It’s easier to get out of SFS then get in I’ve heard.
