Georgetown or University of Rochester

That’s a question no one can answer; it depends on what you do while you’re in college, what your definition of “better” is, and a whole host of other variables that will take 4 years to figure out. Both universities have excellent career offices and job placement records.

Rochester is very strong in science and math - which specific science are you talking about?

Georgetown is better known for poli sci and IR (guess why?) but is also strong in sciences.

Your questions are way too broad, and it’s clear that you haven’t figured out what you want from a school. Until you know that, no one can help you.

Biology/chemistry… more leaning towards bio though

bobmallet1 if you’re thinking about biology…
Georgetown is a better undergrad overall, but Rochester has a better med school, esp if you’re considering REMS

“Rochester has a better med school”

Are you sure about that??

This is a no-brainer: Georgetown.

^even for sciences?

You really have to ask yourself what kind of school you want to attend. Georgetown and U of R are completely different in terms of total undergrad experience. I’d say for sciences they are pretty much comparable, none having a real clear advantage. In that case go with the school whose feel you like best. Also keep in mind that there is a chance you’ll end up hating being a bio major and want to change majors. Georgetown certainly has the better reputation at least in most other fields.
