Hi,
I’m an international student currently studying at a 4 year institution looking to transfer. Georgetown, Northwestern, and Tufts are some of the schools that I am looking to apply to. I am currently undecided between economics and business as a possible major but would probably be fine pursuing either one of them. I have to select 1-2 of the three schools that I have listed. I hope to end up in investment/consulting after I graduate.
Some of the questions I have about these schools are-
- How rigorous/competitive would these schools be? Many people compare the rigour of my schools to that of Tufts and Emory
- How good is economics at Tufts? I know they don't have a business program.
- How would you rank them in difficulty of being accepted to as a transfer?
- How easy would it be to adjust to these schools? I am in a small research university right now with little social life (Something I don't appreciate) and a suffocating environment.
Your inputs are much appreciated!
