I am a junior and I have wanted to go to Georgetown almost my whole life. Although I have a problem; I have a health condition that requires me to miss a lot of school and so my grades are just really slipping right now. Its incredibly frustrating because there’s not much I can do when I’ve missed two weeks of curriculum. I will probably be able to pull a 3.1-3.3 out of my ass by the end of this year, but its not just this year, I have been dealing with this for three years. I know how competitive GT is, but I have extremely high ambitions. I have done Model UN and Mock trial since freshman year and I’ve started key club this year (I’ve already made my way to a leadership position) I am taking 5/8 AP classes and one honors and one tutorial class (where I help other students). I also just finished interning at my senators office and I have a glowing recommendation from them, and I’m already looking for new internships. I haven’t taken my SAT/ACT yet but I’ve taken a prep course and I’ve been studying so I need to get at least a 2100 (to make up for my GPA). So I have lots of experience in business. I have backup schools too like, George Washington, American University and George Mason but I’m really worried about my GPA!
