I am going to be a junior at a Texas high school next fall. I am wanting to major in Computer Science. If I get accepted to Georgia Tech does this mean that I can major in Computer Science right off the bat? What is the acceptance rate for OOS students?

Acceptance rate overall is 31%, but it is always better to apply EA where it was 45% this past year. You will be at a slight disadvantage OOS but not too much. I think they have to accept 51% instate. And yes, you can major in CS right away. Keep your GPA high, take as many APs as you can still get good grades with and have some meaningful EC’s. You have probably seen what your test scores need to be.
You can also choose to apply to a “safer” major and transfer to computer science if that’s a last resort.
