I applied to Tech for early decision. I graduated high school school in 2010 and I applied as an incoming freshman. My gpa is at an 2.5. The reason it’s so low is due to health issues I dealt with and being in and out of the hospital majority of my childhood which I explained in my college essay. The only honor class I’ve taken is English. I did not partake in any AP classes they weren’t offered. I took the old SAT subject text and scored an 1290.

If denied I due plan on writing a letter to try and get accepted and have my application reevaluated with documentation written from he doctor. Please help as I am stressed out.
@Ayanna416 I don’t think you have a chance, unfortunately. GA Tech is still a selective school, and your test scores are very poor (see here for 2015 data).
You can’t have applied early decision. Tech doesn’t have an early decision option. Nor do they have “premed” though they do offer premed advising. Tech is not going to consider students who they do not feel can handle the rigor of their curriculum. In the off chance this is a serious thread, look at other schools.
In the latest CDS, GT admitted 0.49% in the 2.5-2.99 GPA band, and 0.13% in the 2.0-2.49 band. Those few are probably recruited athletes. Median GPA is 3.98. You have a near zero chance or admission, and any appeal you file will not be heard. GT is a very tough school even for the brightest students and your SAT indicates you will not be able to handle it. Consider other schools or community college. Once you have proven yourself there you can transfer to a better school.
