Georgia tech essay urgent

<p>Hi,
My Georgia tech supplement essay to be put in the Commonapp is 170 words instead of 150 words(word limit) .
I was just wondering if the extra words would be truncated, as I don't want to remove anything else from my essay. Is 170 words acceptable?</p>

<p>The common app will not let you got over 150 words.
Cut it down to 150 ! </p>
