which would be a better pick for CS, georgia tech or mcgill??

I don’t know about G tech, but the CS dept at McGill is not too shabby. Assignments are very tough and time consuming, though. The CS student society is pretty active, and there are a lot of carreer oriented ‘info sessions’ with not only big name tech companies (IBM, GE) but also finance and consulting ( Morgan Stanley, McKinsey). For what its worth, the CS building is very nice and has imo the nicest cafeteria. For grad studies, it is in a slightly lower league than U of Toronto, even McGill profs admit this. For undergrad, there’s probably not much difference, unless you are looking for a very specialized program, in which case look elsewhere (Waterloo).

@broodjebakpao: thanks man!! i have also been admitted to waterloo and have a $20k scholarship there and i have a $40k scholarship in mcgill . . . what should i do?

Take the offer which results in the lowest fees / highest scholarship. Your undergraduate CS education will be similar at any of the schools you mentioned.
