Hi All..So Ive narrowed down to Georgia Tech and Stanford for an MS in Electrical Engineering. I am interested in eventually getting into the field of medical electronics once I graduate. I was trying to decide which offer to accept. Both offers come with no funding. Please let me know what your thoughts are on this. Thanks!

Stanford is a great place to do EE. Also, with the Bio-X initiative, there is a strong emphaisis on doing interdisciplinary work.

can i ask what ur stats were like GPA and gre scores

Take a strong look at Georgia Tech. Their EE is in the top 10 and their biomedical engineering is #2. They also have a strong emphasis on getting people into industry jobs or taking their work while at school and actually commercializing it. Go visit both schools and meet with the profs to see which you like better, you can't tell much from websites and biased reviews (mine included).
