Thank you! I was wondering how early they could be accessed! I had to play and play with it on chrome. When I hovered over the pdf results for the last test, I had to right click and choose “copy link” to get the javascript link, then paste that into the url line on the same page. Then I pasted in the number from the new test registration. (It’s important to use the same page, not open it on another tab.)

I apologize for not giving more details, but I tried so many things that I’m not sure exactly what I did that finally made it work.

ETA: This score included the writing score too.

It does work, it’s just a pain in the rear, I’m not sure it was worth all the hoopla. For my own version of proof this is what they said about my son’s essay:

Your essay adequately supported general statements with specific reasons, examples, and details. The organization of your essay was adequate. But the rigid structure seemed to limit discussion.

What you want to do is to make sure you are logged in to the ACT website

Then, you want to click “View Score Report Choices” for the October test

After you click that, click the October 2012 option

In the URL, copy the numbers at the very end of the URL (after the equal sign)

Paste this into notepad or a word document

After you do this you want to return to your user home and view your scores for another test… You do not have to actually access them

After you do this, you want to copy this code
javascript:displayWindow(‘actibeCTsdScoresPrt.jsp ?pdf.x=1®Id=xxxxxxxx’,800,800)

MAKE SURE TO DELETE THE SPACE BETWEEN THE P AND THE QUESTION MARK

After you copy this code, delete the current URL of the test you are trying to access and paste the code… the code should be the only thing in the URL Box (This is where I went wrong the first time)

Now open the document you put your ID in and make them replace the x’s in the code

Double check to make sure there are no extra spaces

OMG!!! Just got it to work!!! Ummm… Hoping that when I actually look at the scores at midnight they will be different… Hoping it was just a dream, and ACT is playing a joke… Could honestly cry…

I did EXACTLY what eritrean said do… But, when you copy and paste that code you have to GO AND TYPE in javascript: at the beginning. Also delete the space between the question mark and the p… Make sure you are going to an old test score, and then doing all of this… I had given up hope and was going to try it one last time and it worked… I kept looking at where it says october 2012 thinking that my life is OVER, and this can’t be right!! Better luck to you than what I had… :(
