Getting 4 or 5 in 14 AP exams

How does getting such many AP scores help me to graduate from universities earlier? If I will go to one of UC, can I graduate from the university one year earlier?

If you’re college accepts the credit and it works with your major, you can drop the course. However, the problem is that not all colleges accept credits or not all majors will work with all credits. So look into your area of study and the colleges you are interested in and then decide from there. They either accept only 5’s, 4’s and 5’s and some schools accept 3’s (ex: UDel).

I did this however with the way things went today I don’t feel so confident that I’m getting a 4. :(

Some colleges also set a limit on transfer or AP credits.

OK. I will retake some of the tests which I got 4 and check the limit of AP credits given by each school.

Many of the super top private universities give no AP credit whatsoever, or very little.

On the other hand, many state universities will give you credit even if you only get a “3” on the exam.

My recollection is that Emory University is pretty good, for a private college, for granting AP credit.

As are the UCs.

Getting a year’s worth of AP credit is significant, because it is like earning a 25% scholarship.

On the other hand, I doubt it is really true that getting a “5” on your AP History exam is the same as attending a top university and taking History 101.

Maybe depending on the University, but sometimes the credits either exempt you from the same stuff, aren’t accepted, or are free electives would could be useful for later college classes that help with your career.

I know the school I want to go to, AP US History and AP US Govt both get me out of the same general education area…I don’t have to take anything related to United States stuff apparently even with just AP USH…AP US Govt is pretty much for looks now I guess. Then most of the other exams I take only accept for free electives only.
