Getting into HKUST for humanities & social science? is it hard?

<p>Im a american junior in HS and im really good at english and good at history. Will that help my chances? Ive never been in AP but probably will get in AP english this upcoming semester and AP history senior year. Is it too late already? What are my chances? How competitive is HKUST college of humanities & social sciences?</p>

<p>HKUST’s famous for sciences, so humanities as such wouldn’t be very hard to get in, just keep in mind it’s the top university in Hong Kong, so it still is hard to get in comparatively. You need APs and at least a 2000 SAT.</p>

<p>It’s not just AP classes – it’s also the score you get on the AP exam that count. Plan on 4 or higher to get into the more selective universities, HKUST included.</p>
