<p>Hello, I am planning on applying to the school of business this fall. I am a junior transfer. This spring will be my only real opportunity to apply since I will be over 100 credits by next spring and you can't apply after that.</p>
<p>This semester is going by good for me except in this one class where I am getting a C and it is a 5 credit class so it is really killing my GPA. If I end with the grades I have right now I will be like a 3.2 GPA. It's far below the average to get in which is a 3.5. </p>
<p>I was wondering if stating in the optional essay that it's my last semester to apply would help my chances? Or would it also help to state I am a URM(Mexican- American)? Or does being a URM not help with getting admitted to the school of business?</p>
