So i am going into my senior year of high school and i would like to go to the university of iowa. I have two brothers that go there. I got a 18 on the act, i have a 3.1 gpa but i have also taken 26 college credits. Do i have a chance to get in? i am from minnesota so id be paying out of state tuition. So tell me what you think my chances are. Thanks.

try to get like a 20 on the act or above, then you will im pretty sure

University of Iowa admissions are based on a number called the Regents admissions index (RAI). If you are an out of state student, you must get at least a 255, and if you are in-state, you must get at least a 245 to be automatically admitted. This number is based on your ACT score, GPA, class rank, and number of core classes taken. Here is a link to the RAI calculator ([Admission to Iowa’s Regent Universities: Regent Admission Index](Regent Admission Index | Board of Regents State of Iowa)) This way, you will be able to know if your score is high enough to get admitted. Definitely consider retaking the ACT.
