Getting Needed Classes

So I am wondering with the budget cuts is it hard to get the classes you need in the order needed to graduate in 4 years? I will be in electrical/computer engineering.

I have just been accepted RD so I am starting to figure out if this is the college for me. I have also been asked to apply for the honors college which I assume will make it easier to get classes.

Getting classes is pretty tough without priority registration. You could end up getting the last registration date at the latest time with normal reg. and get stuck on the waitlist for all your classes. There’s a program called 4 Year Pledge where you get an adviser and map out all the classes you are going to take for the next 4-5 years. They keep you on track for graduation and you also get priority registration. You apply when you start school and the deadline is around November of that year. Downside is that you aren’t guaranteed that you’ll get in but it doesn’t hurt to try. Check it out: [Graduation Pledge | Academic Programs | Cal Poly Pomona](http://www.csupomona.edu/~academic/programs/grad_pledge/index.shtml)

Hope this helped
