Getting results early

I heard that if you can log into housing for a university, you're probably accepted. Anyone know if this is true or how to do it? I'm so anxious !

I don’t think you can log into the website for housing without a Duke “NetID”, which is not the same as your Username/Email Address that you use to view your application/decision.

netIDs aren’t even issued or activated until late spring/early summer from what I recall.

Jeez do people make things like this up out of anxiety?

Yeah. Honestly we’re now in December, it’s not a surprise that people are getting jumpy. This is CC after all.

My daughter received her NetID, Duke email, etc…in an email within 15 mins last year after pulling up her ED acceptance letter and clicking on the accept link at the bottom of the page…

Maybe they do things differently now…I didn’t even have an accept link on that page, I had to mail in a card with deposit…

The point is, no one gets a NetID without first being admitted then accepting the offer.

Absolutely…

An active NetID gratned for a prior paid research internship doesn’t help either. Capice?
