Hahaha. @Denam98 I am from Pakistan and I totally understand your situation and trust me your essay will get you in if nothing else does. Your stats and all are great but the edgy part seems to be your essay tbvh.
As far as the financial aid is concerned. Tell me about it man. It is such a pain to ask for aid cuz it honestly ends up becoming a humongous reason for rejections.
However, lets hope they end up taking both of us since we really ride the same boat tbvh.
Exactly @Raamael, It’s just so much disapointing to know that you could enter any school you want if you had more money ! I think it’s what you pay to be born in a country from the third world ! If I didn’t get accepted this year my only choice would be to apply next year since colleges here ( actually I don’t know if there is a word to describe how bad they are ).
Anyway, I think it’s enough pessimism. let’s hope as you said for the best !

I was on the GettysburgAdmissions twitter page and saw a post directed at class of 2020 applicants to “stay tuned”. I’m inferring from the rather vague post that the decisions have been mailed out already or will be very soon i.e. today or tomorrow.
They mail em tomorrow.
Just looked on the admissions twitter, they are putting the packages together. So I bet they will be mailed out tomorrow. Is this stressing anyone else out?
I checked GettysburgAdmissions’ twitter again (I follow all of my colleges on twitter,) and this time they had a picture of them packing the acceptance envelope.
