@@StormXenon @celeste617 The portal for my S shows the same wait list language, but he has not received any emails or letters about wait list, denial, or acceptance. I wish I had taken a screenshot of that page a while ago to see if it has always said that about the wait list.
Just got the waitlisted email.
Just received my wait list letter in the mail.
I haven’t received my letter yet but, I think I was waitlisted. On my account it has waitlist information.
I’m seeing the waitlist info at the portal, but it also states clearly that no decisions are posted there. Is everyone seeing this? Or only those waitlisted? Haven’t got a letter or email…
I received my waitlist letter in the mail today and I had the waitlist message on my portal.
Waitlisted.
3.4 GPA / 29 ACT
Friend with 4.0 also got waitlisted
S’s snail mail finally arrived in GA - wait listed. Not a surprise after the ominous wait list language on the portal. It may be of some interest that my older S was also wait listed by Gettysburg 3 years ago; he was wait listed by a total of three schools and eventually the other two made him offers (but not Gettysburg).
To those who got waitlisted, here’s some words of encouragement: Do not lose hope! I’m a current undergrad who was in the same position last year, thinking there was almost no chance that I could get off. Then, the day after college decision day, I received a notification that spot freed up. I literally jumped up and down and then cried. (Seriously, it was the best moment of my life) You never know what can happen! c: Good luck to you all!
Those who got waitlisted and completed the waitlist form:
Have you received a confirmation email about your reserved spot on the waitlist yet?
Hi, anyone got updated about your waitlist status? I think some of the students must have been informed by now I have butterflies and nearly run out of hope
Just got an email from admissions this morning. They said no vacancies have developed.
