GGGGGGGGGGGGGG-Unit

I saw this on another forum and I agree whole heartedly.

"What kind of stuff are they dropping now? Did anyone actually hear "I like the way she do it" off TOS? It has the worst content, lack of any signifcant rhyme, dried out chorus, and no lyrical flow. "Rider pt2" is much better and catchy but it has no point to it and 50 used a voicecoder for the chorus.

G unit made a horrible mistake when they dropped The Game and Young Buck. Game's L.A.X will hopefully crush Terminate on Sight. Young Buck had some talent compared to Banks and Yayo. I don't think Yayo would even be rapping if he wasn't 50's right hand man.

And what about 50? The guy was a beast on GRODT. And absolutley AMAZING on Power of the Dollar. Everything just flowed, he rapped about real stuff not an entire song comparing himself to a soldier."

What are people's thoughts?

um...listen to classical music?

Uh, quit listening to mainstream stuff. Same goes for Rock music as well.

It was only a few decades ago when mainstream music was actually good stuff.

Listen to underground rappers and obscure heavy metal.

I prefer older music from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
I don't really listen to today's music. I have no idea who any of those people you named are, except for 50 cent.

Other than 50, G-Unit really isn't that main stream.

the game is mainstream (or at least was), but he doesn't really count because he's not in g-unit anymore.

Lmao.......

When power of the dollar and get rich or die trying I thought 50 cent would become a legend in the ranks of 2pac, biggie, nas, jayz and eazy e. Seriously the guy had it checked out.

Liist I listen to more than my fair share of mixtapes. G unit mixtapes are actually pretty good. You should listen to some of them (return of the bodysnatchers was pretty good by most people's standards)

Don't listen to it?
Seems simple enough.

50 is a beast, he just needs to rediscover the inner beast again.

^^yup...i think his new album sucked balls...wasn't even competition compared to kanye

Haha neither do I. =)

none of those guys he listed are mainstream except for 50 cent and maybe young buc (cuz of his one song) so im not surprised many haven't heard of them

Immortal Technique, Andre Nickatina, Tech 9, NWA (esp Eazy-E), and Jedi Mind Tricks stomp 50's ass

They are all main stream. You just dont know them. There are plenty of rock bands and artists that I dont know about simply because that isnt my type of music.

Eazy E is probably the best rapper ever in my opinion based on how he delivered his songs. All of those artists are mainstream. I only like the way Rider pt2.

Kanye's album didn't sell that much more plus you are forgetting that most of Curtis was leaked 5 months prior to release.
