<p>Hi! I bought small gifts to thank my teachers for writing all 15 of my recs. I was wondering if it would be better to give the gifts before or after the letters are submitted. Also, for the envelopes.. are they just standard size or the bigger yellow envelopes? Thanks. :)</p>

<p>IDK, that stuff is tough to tell. Some teachers will show you their rec, my math teacher showed me his. If they don't show you, well I guess youll never know if it was a good or bad rec, however, you should try to ask teachers who you think will write u a good one, and ask in such a way like "would you feel comfortable writing a recommendation for me for such and such school" (theres prob a better way to ask), so that sorta secures it. Also, even if they didn't write you a good rec, well there isn't always so much you can do about it, with deadlines and everything.</p>
