gimme moneyyyyy? MERIT AID QUESTION

Hah okay so, I kind of need merit aid since my parents don't want to pay full price (even though they probably could... so no need-based)

Which of these schools is most/more likely to give me merit aid?
I am fairly certain that my grades, scores etc are good enough to get into any of these schools, so which is easiest to get aid at? (Assuming I can't get awards for minority/diversity, sports, or insane people who do tons of research or community service)

UChicago, Davidson, Kenyon, BU, GWU, Occidental, Holy Cross, American, Wake Forest, Grinnell, Rhodes, SMU

Any info on any of these schools would be great!!

One of the criteria often applied for merit aid consideration is resourcefulness and initiative. There are about 10 billion google hits on this topic and at least a dozen threads on this very subtopic, including one stickered at the top.

Much like for acceptance to a college, the likelyhood of getting merit aid is greater the higher your stats are compared to the entire applicant pool. There are of course other factors such as scholarship essays and interviews, but in general, you will be more likely to get merit aid from the least selective schools.
