Is there any way to get thin mints in the off season? I swear they are soooo addictive.

make them yourself. i'm sure there's a recipe floating around on the internet somewhere.

Arent they still selling them?

Yeah, I think they are. This is just for later. What will I do without the chocolatey minty goodness?! (I swear I'm not that obsessed, I just really like thin mints and I have yet to find a cookie that is its equal)

THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.....i love them

My sister is a girl scout, and you can technically still buy cookies although you need "inside resources" through a girl scout or a troop leader - they have extra boxes

yeah. i like peanut butter patties the best :D.

I NEED SOME GIRL SCOUT COOKIES.....stupid little runts.....never seem them in my town

I LOVE the peanut butter chocolate ones (I think they're called tag alongs?). :)

tagalongs are so good!

nooooooo, the best girl scout cookies are the samoas. yes, it is true, they are a lovely chocolatey and caramelly and coconutty confection.

I would agree, but I absolutely HATE coconut or cinnamon. I don't know why...

the thin mint has no equal.

a genius girl scout set herself up in the campus center basement (by mailroom and school store) during dinner hours two weeks ago. It was brilliant, everybody wanted cookies! I got two boxes.. and I weep now that they are gone.

So I was at this 3-day conference last week, and there was a snack truck filled with free food: bananas, apples, girl scout cookies, girl scout cookies, and more girl scout cookies. It was awesome. I would stop by and take five boxes at once when I was heading back to my hotel room (to share with a couple of roommates, of course). Too many Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, and Caramel Delights. Mmm. Good stuff.

samoans kick ass but you only get like 16 in a box.... RIPOFFFF

This thread is making me hungry :)

I have 2345324532 boxes of thin mints. If you're hungry, I'd be willing to give out a box for free. =)

Haha, thanks!

Oh gah, now I'm hungry for some girl scout cookies, I love them ALL.

hoards of cookies there

You can try calling your local Girl Scout Council & ask if there are any cookies in your area or nearby. That would probably be a good place to start--you may be pleasantly surprised. Our council ordered too many cookies & often sells them at reduced price after the official sale, just to get rid of them & not take a loss.
