<p>Silver- not important because it’s finished before high school.</p>
<p>Gold - nice EC, and how impressive it is might depend on the project, and what you gained/learned from it and how it benefitted others.</p>
<p>Like an Eagle award for Boy Scouts, it should not be accomplished for the sake of college admissions, but for the experience and satisfaction of doing it for it’s own sake. If the project you plan for your Gold award isn’t interesting and fulfilling on its own, look for a project that is.</p>
