OMG JISUNZ! Congratulations! Stats?
And pattycat and suju :frowning: sorry I’m sure you’ll end up in the right place…

So if I can’t get into the admitted students site, should I assume rejection?

Yeah jisunz, does your tracking number work on the website now?
this one: [Admissions - Barnard College](http://www.barnard.edu/admiss/admitted_new/)

Hey guys! Will post stats in just a minute!

Jisunz- Since you are the first acceptance you should start the “Official Barnard 2015 Results Thread”. Congrats to you.

sujulove: I’m sorry to tell you this, but the ED rejection is final for the entire year. You can reapply next year if you choose, but you can’t apply RD this year.

Why don’t you concentrate on your other RD applications. I am sure there is a place that you are meant to be.

Condolences to those rejected.

Congratulations to those accepted.

@mythmom: thank you! but i know it’s over. What I meant were my other RD applications.

@jisunz: Cong!!

did anyone try putting in their tracking mumber in the site and got in?

Jusunz- you’re international, right? Is your number for the accepted students site the same as your first tracking number? Does it work in the site?

Has anyone domestic gotten into the site yet?

it says password not recognized for me =/

Argh yo tambien. You guys have no idea- I’m in school but I keep refreshing both this and the tracking obsessively on my phone…

Hi guys…sorry these stats took a while to put up, but I have simply been freaking out.
But first, I just wanna say that my tracking number DOES NOT work either at this point…so don’t freak out if yours doesn’t either (weird…) but I don’t think it’s a big problem. Worry about it later.

STATS-

Ethnicity: Korean
Citizenship: USA
FA: Did not request FA

GPA: 3.7 W (only took one AP during junior year out of limit of two my high school sets for each year)
SAT I: R: 730 W: 740 M: 620
SAT II: USH: 720 Lit: 740

Extracurricular: the strongest aspect of my application in my opinion.

 • spearheaded a school-wide run to raise money towards brain cancer research
 • Student Council for all 4 years; secretary sophomore year
 • President of school’s literary journal, all 4 years
 • Varsity soccer since 7th grade; Captain, and recognized by Conference I played in
 • Six international conferences for Model United Nations, elected school team’s secretary this year
 • Service trips to Baguio City, Philippines for three consecutive years
 • Leader of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, all 4 years
 • Community Service Club - all 4 years
 • JV Volleyball 2 years
 • coached middle school soccer sophomore year
 • member of high school’s peer counselling club
 • member of high school’s environmental club

Essays: One of the strongest parts of my application: wrote about my mom’s passing for Common App, the Cancer Benefit Run I held in her honor for extracurricular, specifics for Barnard, Narcissa Malfoy for woman, clash of Korean culture and my international school background, and standing up to my friends for “unafraid.”

Recs: very strong as well. Have known my counselor for all four years of high school; three additional recs from teachers who know me from the classroom, the soccer field, and in Model UN.

Wow. All I can say is that I am floating. This IS the best feeling in the world, and I TRULY, TRULY hope that all of you beautiful ladies will experience it as well. I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason, and you guys will do GREAT things. It has been wonderful getting to know you. Thanks for all the support and congratulations :') I have not screamed/cried this much in a very long time…haha

I was wondering if any of you guys were willing to put your stats up? Or are we starting a new one for that?
