I can’t get onto the site… I got rejected I guess…

I’m in for the meetup!

Yey meet up!!

is there anybody who got a letter, but their admittance log in still doesn’t work?

Any confirmation on working code = acceptance?

Because mine works but I really don’t want to get my hopes up. I haven’t told anyone about it just in case it isn’t true…

My family is up in the air and I’m still skeptical. Tomorrow’s gonna be a long day. calmom, churchmusicmom, anyone from the past: thoughts on this??

Has anyone confirmed their acceptance who hasn’t gotten a letter?

Nobody here has posted to that effect…but not very many people have gotten letters yet.

Also, this was intended to reply to the post about people’s codes not working but them having been admitted.

has anyone who checked online actually submitted anything?

I submitted my intent to enroll.

I think we can sue if we submit the $400 down and aren’t REALLY enrolled… don’t quote me on that, though.

I have no clue whatsoever on the issue of on-line logins & mail delivery. My daughter was a RD applicant; Barnard sent out its RD admit packets so that they arrived several days ahead of the April 1st deadline. We definitely were not obsessed with tracking mailings or anything… so I can’t really tell you anything beyond the fact that it was a fat envelope, delivered via priority mail.

AHHH. It worked. & I got an email. & I let out the first deep breath I think in about 2 months. My official letter has yet to arrive, but I’m taking this as a VERY good omen:)

Guys, my best suggestion is to wait until you get your official letter. If you go back a few pages in this thread, "Amy144 (I think) says she got her letter of acceptance and the site does NOT work for her. I would maybe guess that if it does work for you, that is good news. If it does not, you really cannot assume rejection. They most likely are working to get all accepted student’s info into the system and just have not gotten it all done yet.

Best to all of you amazing women. You will find a wonderful place to be…whether it’s Barnard or not!!

I was monitoring the forum and the site then - it didn’t work for anyone until around 11:00, and then it worked for a ton of people.

I don’t think I’m being too optimistic: all signs point to yes.

1) Barnard did tell someone in this thread that getting in meant yes
2) Not everyone got into the site
3) Nobody got into the site before
4) The site allows us to do all the registration stuff

Again, I think that being able to get into the site is a “good” sign. But I am not ready to say that NOT being able to means certain rejection.

if your admission number works on the website then you are in its that simple. I got accepted and my number works. CONGRATS!

I agree with churchmusicmom, it’s possible that not all the information has been filled out yet.
But I submitted my intent and recieved an email saying congratulations and that I was enrolled for Sept 2011, so I’m guessing I must be in the system. Hopefully letters come tomorrow. Good luck girls!

<3

not to bum you guys out, but even though my tracking number didn’t work early this afternoon, it did around 4 pm. I confirmed that I want to go (duh) and I got an email from admissions. maybe they haven’t updated all of the tracking numbers yet, though, so just wait for your letters to be sure!

Sounds like a tracking number from a certain anonymous person who did not get in is not working in the site. Which is a good omen for those of us who can get in the site.
