<p>There are rankings of girls/guys and difficulty of hooking up are on some college ranking sites. It is not necessarily true that smart people are not as good looking, but the top schools in this cateory do not include top academic schools.</p>

<p>I had a girlfriend freshman year, but it was with someone who didn't go to Penn -- it sort of put a limit on night activity throughout the year. Meng is right on this point to be entirely honest: You are better off starting fresh when you come to college, and you are better off not hopping into something serious unless you know you have the capacity for it and you know the other person does too. Otherwise, random hookups... they exist in high numbers.</p>
