Girls @ Northeastern

How are they?

bump(10char) are they good looking for the most part?

not very good

Sooooo hot, I can personally say that the girl scene at NEU has defied heaven. Most are like angels or goddesses, they are also very sexually liberal. Besides NEU's superb reputation as an amazing institute of higher learning, the girls are the icing on an amazing cake. Go to NEU!!!

My friends from other schools nearby in Boston have always said how attractive it seems our student population is, but I really hope you aren't choosing a school based on that. Also, Northeastern is in Boston, so if for some reason the girls weren't up to your standards there is an entire city full of college students.

Yikes. When I was home for thanksgiving I met a Harvard guy through some mutual friends that I went to high school with.

He says "No kidding! You go to NU? I heard you guys have the hottest girls in Boston. Harvard girls suck... I have parties a lot, you should come and bring girl friends. I have a really cool house." HA!

So, whether or not we actually ARE hot, we seem to have that reputation. But apparently we're also hot property for sketchy Harvard boys, so you'll have some competition...

I have a similar yet different question. I've been to a lot of local and state universities/colleges, and I've noticed that the Chinese usually stick together, and the same thing with the Indians, etc. So I was wondering how true this is for Northeastern? And also, is there a lot (or relatively a lot) of dating between the ethnicities?

are you serious?

Okay, if I offended anyone, I seriously didn't mean to, but I myself am South Asian, and I've visited tons of colleges in New York (home state), and ALL the Chinese are in their own corner, the Indians in their own, Hispanics in their own, etc. Even at the bigger SUNY schools, I see the same trend, and it drives me nuts. I see this kind of stuff in my high school all the time, but that's high school, I was hoping college would be different.

You get that everywhere, including Northeastern. If you are curious as to why this happens, I suggest you read "Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria" by Beverly Tatum.

It doesn't happen EVERYWHERE. At least not at all to the extremes that I've seen here. At least I don't think so. One of my cousins who attends Oberlin and is Indian, for instance, said that Oberlin doesn't have that sort of division at all. And when I visited Amherst College, such division wasn't really that apparent...wait, I've just listed two LAC's, perhaps that's why. Maybe LAC's have more students that are a bit more outgoing, more able to transcend the borders of ethnicities.
