I know someone will hammer me for this (shallow, etc.), but:

In general, how attractive are girls (or people in general) at Tufts?

How easy is it to hook up with girls in Boston from other colleges?

Look, college is going to be a time for me to "let loose" and get some things out of my system (I'll leave it at that), and this is a natural question.

"In general, how attractive are girls (or people in general) at Tufts?"'

You’re asking the wrong question. You should be inquiring if the myriad attractive, intelligent Tufts /women/ will associate with shallow, self-absorbed boys. ;)

skiitifucan, chill. a, i didn't say anything about myself, so you can't really call me self-absorbed. b, what's wrong with wanting to have sex with an attractive woman? I'm not saying looks are everything. Personality is way more important in the long run. but if i want to randomly hook up with a girl, her personality is not what I'm going to notice.

Oh, and I'm not using this information to decide whether or not I attend.

No, I mean what's your real problem? (the one that's compelling you to argue with me on a message board on a wednesday night, as opposed to just letting someone answer the ****ing question)

"one that's compelling you to argue with me"

I'm not arguing with you. I simply stated a few facts.

“as opposed to just letting someone answer the ****ing question”

There’s no need to use profanity. Anyone is free to answer your questions. I said nothing to indicate otherwise. Not to mention, even if I had, I have no influence over whom responds. Am I to assume since you believe college is a time to “let loose”, your social life isn’t what you would wish? Why do you believe it will be any better in college? :)

JJRock, check out the Why I like about Tufts thread, page 4. There was quite a bit of discussion there about the attractiveness of the student body.

In general, I read on some survey that the girls at Tufts get a B, and the guys get a C, but obviously that's subjective.

Here's my take on it, as someone whose info comes from reading this and other boards: the students at Tufts are going to be somewhat nerdy. Now, nerds have girlfriends/boyfriends/sex, too. In fact, at our school, many of the nerds are quite active....maybe even more so than the so-called popular people, because they hook up with each other and are quite happy. The girls, from what I gather, are probably not going to look like USC girls (or BU girls). Do you like bleached blonde hair? Anyway, I think nerds are great. Nerds rule the world.

In any case, I think the class of 2011 will definitely be bringing the average up...especially the girls.

JJRock - As the mother of a Tufts coed, I hope you will treat the women at Tufts with the respect they deserve and not treat them just as a "hook-up".
Sex is a lot more meaningful with someone you care about.

I was going to make a joke about the women at BU, but I'll restrain myself. ;-)

From my personal experiance, Tufts has equal or better looking girls than every school in the Boston area except for BC.

Nevertheless, this information should not affect your college choices at all. There are going to be plenty of attractive and unattractive girls at EVERY school. If you couldn't get a good looking girl at MIT, then you probably wouldn't be able get an attractive girl at a school full of them either.
