I would like to get some ideas about where I should set some of my goals towards and what schools might be suitable for me. I'm currently a sophomore so I know it's a little early, but I'd still like to have somewhat of an idea of what I could be aiming for.

I will be interested in either majoring in business or sciences such as microbiology, chem, etc.

My current stats are:

-I'm from NV
-All honors classes and currently taking trig, probably going to be taking all APs next year.
-Good ECs and volunteering hrs so far
-GPA isn't so hot, I think it's about 3.8/3.9 weighted.
-My PSATs weren't that great, it was 174 w/o studying. Maybe will be higher if I try hard next year. My goal for SATs will be about 2000 or more if I can do it.

So I really don't know what I should be looking towards. I only know that I do want to go for some more selective schools but not too high. Any suggestions?

All APs in junior year? Ouch.

Anyway, no one can really decide for you, even just looking at your stats, since you haven't specified anything. If you're thinking career-oriented, look for colleges with good programs in the fields you might like. Otherwise...narrow down what you want and then ask questions. It's impossible to just give you a list of choice without any basis of what you want. Remember, you want the school to fit you: not the other way around.

Oh, I just realized I forgot to add that part.

-I'm especially looking for schools more in the west coast, but if it's not then it's still ok.
-Schools that would have good financial aid
-Small/Large does not matter to me
-Also anything with good science programs

I suggest visiting nearby colleges, even if you're not particularly interested in them. It will give you a better idea of what you're looking for. It's a bit early to formulate a list, but
