That and having a different UNIV class

Have you guys joined TerpNet?

Yes, I expected the same. I wonder if I would’ve been accepted into Honors if I hadn’t expressed my interests in stewardship and environmentalism in my application.
While the Global Communities program is definitely exclusive, I still wonder where it stands (academically) when compared to the other programs (Honors, Scholars, etc).

On the UMD website, Honors College is described to accept students of “exceptional academic talents”. However, Global Communities only states that its students have a passion in globalization and ties together diverse cultures.

I am, of course, grateful and excited for the acceptance - I just have many questions about the program. Congrats to others who were accepted as well!

Help - My daughter just got accepted to global Communities - What is this? are there others for 2014 (2018 Grads?) Is there merit money with this program?

Hey there’s a facebook group for the global communities students class of 2019 go join!
