I'm just starting to heat up on my college search, and I really don't know where to start. I'm currently a junior. My mind is going five million miles an hour when I even begin to think about college searching.

I like smaller class sizes, but I want a place that has a big-school atmoshpere, especially with athletics. It doesn't really matter if it's a larger or smaller school, I want a place with a unified student body.

Right now, my possible majors are English, history, or some sort of science like biology. I'm also considering going to med school to either do oncology or sports medicine.

My g.p.a. is a lot lower than I'd like- 3.0. But I'm also considering graduating early.

My current classes are:
Band
Algebra 2
Spanish 4 (this is usually the Senior Spanish class, which I'm taking as a junior)
English 3 Enriched
AP Biology
AP History

My current EC's-
Drum Major for the band- HUGE leadership position
St. Jude Club- Basically organizing events and donating money to help out St. Jude Research Hospital. I'm very involved with this.
V Softball
2 years of JV Basketball
Spanish Club- Hopefully I'll have a leadership position in this next year, I know it doesn't really count unless I do.

I'd be a 1st generation college student, and if it helps, I've wanted to go to University of Illinois since I was in 7th grade.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
