hi im thinking about going to exeter for my last year of high school, but im not sure if it would be of any benefit. any ideas?

Are you entering your senior year this fall?

If you are, you can't go to Exeter for senior year. It's too late.

doh ijt didnt say anything about the boarding school application deadline though

Most of the people who go to Exeter for senior year only are taking a post-graduate year. They're usually very good athletes that beef up the teams and are trying to show colleges that they can do well in an competitive academic environment. There are some academic PGs, though, and also some who are being considered for military academies, but were deemed in need of more maturing time.

Senior year's a really tough time to come in, and I don't really know what benefits it would have.

I doubt the benefits outweigh the potential harms.

1) The transition is very difficult.
I had justifications but I accidentally deleted everything and forgot.

But the sole reason I'd go is for the counsellours.
